Requirements: At least one blank data disk for storage of info.. However
               it might be wise if you can afford it to use 4 disk for
               data.
                Disk one  = Banner data; Banner Work Area
                Disk two  = Photo  data; Photo Lab Work Area
                Disk 3    = Panel  data; Copy Desk Work Area
                Disk four = Page   data; Layout Work Area

Cursor movement in normal text mode (no joystick)
 
Apple ][+   - Ctrl-IJKM moves cursor
            - Escape key selects, drops and draws.
 
Apple ][e   - Arrow keys moves cursor
            - open/closed apple keys selects, drops and draws.
 
 
What the hell does this program do?
 
You are the editor and have the sole power over your newsroom.  Yo control the productio of banners, photos, layout, copyrighting, and the wire service.
 
There are 4 types of newspaper pages that can be created from the ombonations of a banne and panels.  Here isa very nice pictorialview of these....

The WIRE SERVICE allows you to send or recieve photos, panels or etire pages with the coputer's modem.  The dcs say that their is o problem with compatiility between APPLE, BM, and
commodore(shit) .
 
The PRINTING PRESS allows you to print out the newspaper to your printer.
 
The BANNER section allows you to create BANNERS of course!
 
The COPY DESK allows you to create PANNELS for the pages.
 
The LAYOUT section allows you to arrange the PANNELS on pages.
 
The PHOTO LAB allows you to create pictures for your newspaper.
 
 
 
The BANNER work area
++++++++++++++++++++
 
The Banner is the place where a newspaper prints it's name.  It isusually done in large etters and it sometims has a picture or loo in it.  To enter text while in the banner area, select the crayon icon at the left sideof the work area.  Thegraphic Tools 
 
*NOTE  The return key starts you out on a new line. If you are usin a ][+
       then you have to use CTRL-R instead of Return.  The button and the key
       toggle between text and cursor mode.
 
Clip Art - To add clip art select clip art icon on the left side. A list of clip art pags will appear on the creen.  Move the seletor bar up and down an select the page you re looking for, this page will now be loaded and diskplayed. Choose cancel if you 
graphic tools menu to create your own clip art after you select a ool to draw with, press the button or key (ESC on an apple ][+ keyboard use) to draw or lot.
 
*NOTE  Always save your banner before you exit, otherwise you willlose your
       work.
 
Clip Art Icons...    Picture Icon = allows you to select from the A library
                     Flip Icon = allows you to flip pieces of clip art.
                     Crayon Icon = produces the Graphic Tools Windw.
                     Magnifying Glass = Magnify a portion of the sreen.
                     OOPS = undo what you just did.
